Joe Robertson is Executive Director of Citizens’ Climate International (CCI). In this role, he leads coordination of Citizens’ Climate engagement with United Nations institutions and processes, and is the chief executive for all CCI activities. He is the lead strategist working on the Resilience Intel climate-smart finance initiative. Joe was Global Strategy Director for Citizens’ Climate Education from January 2014 to January 2021.
Joe served as Interim Director for the Food System Economics Commission during its start-up phase in 2020 and is a Senior Advisor to the EAT Foundation for Sustainable Finance and a member of the Good Food Finance Network Secretariat. He serves on the Advisory Group for the Carbon Pricing Leadership Coalition, which is convened by the World Bank and launched during the COP21 UN Climate Change Conference in Paris.
Alongside this work, Joe is founder of Geoversiv and a lead contributor to the Earth Intelligence podcast. He publishes the Living Futures newsletter.
