Celia Byrne

Celia Byrne is Partnerships Manager for Citizens’ Climate International.

Celia is all about empowering others to be the positive change they wish to see in the world, and it is in that spirit that she is dedicated to working alongside organizations and individuals who share those values. She previously served as Program Associate for CCE Global Strategy and Senior Program Associate for CCI.

After receiving her BA in Women’s Studies at the University of Kansas, Celia went on to help organize and facilitate Nobel Peace Prize Forums in Minneapolis and Oslo, as well as multiple international high-level energy and climate dialogues in collaboration with Citizens’ Climate Education and the International Center for Dialogue and Peacebuilding. She currently also works at The Redford Center—a non-profit that uses impact-driven film and media to build the movement toward environmental justice, protection and repair.

Outside of the virtual office, Celia can be found reading one of her ten open books that reside on her coffee table, watching documentary films,  and exploring the Bay Area with her four-legged sidekick, Winslow.
